What is Candidate Fit Check?
Candidate Fit Check is an AI-assisted resume screening tool for recruiters. It compares a candidate resume with a job description and optional hiring-manager intake notes, then provides a Candidate Score with cited evidence and a Candidate Snapshot. Paid checks add a one-page resume summary PDF, with a Pre-Screen Guide available on guide-enabled credits.
How do I compare a resume with a job description?
Add the job description and resume, confirm the candidate name and review the redacted text. Review the job-specific scorecard and its weights before running the check. Use the cited evidence and gaps to plan your pre-screen; missing resume evidence does not prove that a candidate lacks a skill.
Can I check multiple resumes against one job?
Current monthly subscribers can check up to 10 resumes against one shared job scorecard, with optional hiring-manager intake notes. Each successful candidate score uses one credit. Results appear as they finish, and included resume PDFs and Pre-Screen Guides can be generated when needed.
What do the free and paid options include?
A new verified account receives one free Candidate Score and Snapshot. A $12 single check adds a one-page resume PDF. The $18 option also includes a Pre-Screen Guide. The $49 monthly subscription adds 30 guide-enabled credits after each successful payment and renews monthly until canceled. Unused paid credits roll over without expiration, including after cancellation.
Does Candidate Fit Check replace an ATS or make hiring decisions?
No. It supports recruiter review alongside your existing workflow. It does not automatically reject candidates or change their status in an ATS. The score describes coverage of the supplied job requirements, not a prediction of job performance. Review the evidence and confirm unanswered questions with the candidate.
Can the one-page resume include the candidate name?
Yes. Your confirmed candidate name is added locally in the browser to the resume summary and filename. An anonymous download option omits the name from both. Candidate inputs and results are not saved to your account. Review redaction before analysis and verify the summary against the original resume before sharing.
